Conveniently located at the intersection of downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn Heights, Boerum Hill, and Cobble Hill (see map below), State Street Healing provides a range of therapies and supports to empower children, adults and families to achieve wellness.
A diverse and experienced staff of mental health professionals are equipped to provide treatment for a wide variety of issues. Our clinicians listen without judgment and will work in close partnership with you or your loved ones to create the correct pathway forward. Sessions are structured to help you look at the relationship with yourself and work towards living the life you want to live.

Our clinic is located steps from downtown Brooklyn at 66 Boerum Place (on the corner of State Street). We are open from 9am until 7pm seven days a week.

Meet the Administrative Team
Jude Alexandre, VP of Integrated Health Services, MSW
Jude Alexandre is the Vice President of Integrated Health for State Street Wellness. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Baruch College, and a Master’s of Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work. In addition he holds a certificate from Columbia University School of Business Senior Leadership Program. Jude has worked for over 23 years in the non-profit sector running programs that are under the auspices of New York State’s Department of Health (DOH), the Office of Health Insurance Planning (OHIP), the Office of People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD), and the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS).
Tom Haggerty, Assistant Vice President
Tom Haggerty brings over 30 years of management experience in both private and nonprofit entities to bear on his work as Assistant Vice President, Integrated Services. Most recently, Mr.Haggerty served as Executive Director, Behavioral Health Company, Chief Operating Officer in the medical imaging and consulting sectors as well as in health care education and training. He also brings experience from management positions with Wilfred American Education Corp, McMillan Corporation and The Ogden Corporation, and serves on the boards of the Harlem Arts Festival, Image Impact International, ACE Charter School, and more. A graduate of the J.L.Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and veteran of the U.S.Army.
Lynette Green, Senior Behavioral Health Officer, LCSW, SIFI
Lynette began her career at State Street Healing as the Clinical Supervisor and became the Clinic Director in September 2018. Her goal is to ensure that every patient that seeks services has their needs assessed and that the treatment provided helps to alleviate the symptoms that brought them to the clinic. As a social work practitioner, Lynette has provided services to people across their lifespan. She utilizes a client-centered approach and works in collaboration with each client to plan their course of therapy. She prefers a brief therapy approach to focus on the most pressing reason for a person seeking therapeutic services while also combining various methodologies in her treatment approach as “one size doesn’t fit all”. She uses humor in therapy as well as song and sings opera in sessions.
Robert Abel Grant, Associate Clinic Director, LCAT, ATR-BC, ATCS
Robert is an Artist and a Creative Arts Therapist. He has always had a desire to help people through creativity. In the years since he discovered Art Therapy as a student, Robert has used this process to gain deeper understanding into his work and process. In his professional capacity of over thirty years, Robert has learned how to use this creative process to motivate, inspire, help initiate ideas, and provide art therapy to children, adults, and families. He has continued to provide supervisions to graduate level students to help them define their idea of what Art Therapy is and as a professional, whether an Art Therapist or Social Worker, helps them develop their own sense of professional identity.
Lillian T. Gonzalez, Clinical Supervisor, LCSW-R
Lillian is an empowering leader with extensive experience in behavioral health, program management, and clinical practice. She is a dynamic educator with deep understanding of diverse cultures and histories of improving staff skills, operations, and client results through effective coaching, best practices and therapeutic solutions. Lillian is passionate about working with youth in care and partnering with families for a successful life.
Barbara Castro, Clinical Supervisor, LCSW, CASAC
Gigi obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and has experience in the fields of foster care, domestic violence, and counseling. She has completed the educational requirements to become a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapists (LCMFT). Her main objective is to empower families by providing the tools that will give them the abilities to help themselves. The goal is to break generational cycles of negative and maladaptive behaviors by using evidence-based models of therapeutic interventions that promote growth, healing, positive outcomes, and overall good mental and physical health.
Gigi Harmon, Intake Coordinator
Barbara is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a Certified Alcohol and Substance Use Counselor (CASAC) with experience in Social Work since 1999. She came to State Street Healing dedicated to providing effective clinical supervision to the psychotherapists in the Outpatient Mental Health Clinic. She has a strong passion for suicide prevention and education. Over the years, she has held various positions doing Quality Assurance, Clinical Supervision, direct service work, and was a Program Director in a non-profit working in collaboration with the NYC Department of Education.

Each year Heartshare St. Vincent’s provides a continuum of service & support to over 7,000 children, youth, and families dealing with trauma related to family separation, poverty, and mental health struggles. As new needs arise, this organization steps up to meet them.
